The Lawu peak was the Special Interest Tourist Attraction that uptil now has been known among domestic/international tourists.

Lawu Peak could be reached from the main gate entered that was in Cemorosewu village, the Plaosan subdistrict, whereas the location of the main gate entered this was to the province traffic lane that connected Magetan-Solo through Tawangmangu, so as the tourist attraction Puncak Lawu could be reached both from the side of Magetan and Karanganyar easily.

This areas is ± 40 km, 45 Minutes from Kediri City. Kelud is volcano, 1730 meters above sea level. Breezes of fresh air and charming scenery make this area interesting for ecotourism, adventuring, and health purposes.
